                               RESOLUTION NO. 19358
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH HAMILTON COUNTY,
                   TENNESSEE TO PROVIDE CITY FUNDING IN AN
                   AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWELVE
                   THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($212,500.00) TOWARD THE COST OF AN
                   AMPHITHEATER, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an agreement with Hamilton County, Tennessee to 
provide
       City funding in an amount not to exceed $212,500.00 toward the
       cost of an Amphitheater, subject to the following conditions: 
       	    	 (1)  All funding shall be repaid to the City over a
       fifteen (15) year period commencing three (3) years from the date 

       City funds are first transferred;
       	    	 (2)  That all other anticipated funding sources
       participate to the extent that at least an 1,800-seat facility is 

       constructed; and
       	    	 (3)  The County shall supply all subsequently needed
       operational expenses.
